Downer says un must help post war iraq as they are the most successful country since British. #Iraq pic.twitter.com/q3YKfSbW2m — Daniel D'Urso (@dudurso17) June 26, 2015

The former Prime Minister says the "un must" are "the only ones capable of rebuilding the democracy that has been destroyed by America and its allies." He says the two countries must unite to form an Islamic state. "There are some things in common to unite these two countries. "I think there are things in common and it is in the interest of the two nations," he said.

The Prime Minister has said he will seek a coalition of seven countries led by Iran, Iraq and Kuwait, to push an independent nation out of Iraq and to help rebuild that country in the Middle East. The Iraq crisis is not only a blow to the US' military position but also to the coalition that Obama has been pushing against ISIS.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's "un-ism" is to blame for Baghdad's "crackdown on peaceful resistance," writes Foreign Policy's Christopher Fitch. https://t.co/jqxmFQcXtj — Foreign Policy (@ForeignPolicy) June 26, 2015

It will be a challenge for anyone in Iraq to take seriously the Prime Minister's threats to stop the killing of Sunni civilians:

@KarenCoffey23 How far will you go in fighting a war you've been accused of using in your own backyard? #Iraq — Jodie (@JodieDavon) June 26, 2015

Prime Minister Maliki faces an increasingly difficult vote this week on whether or not he will be able to form a new government with his country's current parliament unable to support his bid to run again.

Meanwhile, Iraq has sent soldiers into the streets to fight against ISIS, in hopes of quelling dissent and pushing back on the ISIS presence.

"We will not let terror spread in Iraq again... there must be a change of government in this country," Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said after a two-day emergency session that is expected to be called by the ne

Evans targets unique double plays and double tight-ends in Week 11 against the Giants

The Seahawks' offense ranked sixth in points scored and second in first downs per game on a league-worst 12.5 plays per game, but they did the same on the ground, averaging 2.7 yards per carry while allowing only 16.2 rushing yards per game on 55.3 percent of third downs. The problem is, their ability to make plays in space has improved slightly, but they still need Russell Wilson to make big plays downfield.

Ezra Kanter scored two touchdowns as the Ravens used a 4-3 front and ran the ball effectively. The team struggled with its special teams, giving up 21 points in two games and dropping seven straight games. The Ravens are 0-3 against division rivals the Jets and Chiefs, including last year's loss to them. But even without the dynamic Jamaal Charles, the Ravens were able to win the last three meetings in which they faced a defense ranked in the bottom third of NFL scoring with a net rating of -32.4.

The Packers' defense made a statement against the Steelers in Week 10 by ranking 16th in points allowed and eighth in third-down percentage (24-for-61,.357). Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 38 passes with a 72.5 passer rating on the day, completing 12 of 20 passes in which the Steelers forced four or fewer yard errors. Rodgers, however, was under pressure just one time and finished 17-for-29 for 202 yards and no touchdowns. With the defense improving, the Packers should get back to playing well on offense and defense without DeAngelo Williams for a second straight week or any of Rodgers.

It would take a big push for the Packers to get back to winning ways against the Panthers. Carolina ranks third in third-down defense after allowing the second-most yards (4,064) and passing yards (2,079) in the NFL. Last year, the Panthers allowed the second-most third downs (15) and fourth-most total (24) in the NFL. That's why it's so important for Carolina to come out of the tunnel with an edge in both pass and run games.

The Saints' defense ranks 25th in points allowed and 20th in third-down percentage (28.8). The NFC South teams are 7-3 this season, including a 5-2 record when facing Atlanta and 5-2 record when facing New Orleans. It will be tough for Atlanta and Carolina to win without DeAngelo Williams, as they are the only two teams in the league with two of the top three pass defenses in the league. And the Falcons have a tough matchup this week, losing to the Colts on Monday night.
